COURSE DESCRIPTION
Construction Technology is a class designed to get the student work ready in the construction industry. We start with the basics; Measurements, shop safety, tool safety and job site safety. Next we will introduce you to all the tools and their uses, from small cordless drills to the larger tools such as table saws and planers. Now that you have the basics it's time to build. You will be involved in a wide variety of projects, beginning with dog houses and sheds, moving on to decks, gazebos, remodels and finally the house project.
